For some reason glow in the dark toilet paper makes me think of Futurama. It also freaks me out. A lot.
A new series of Portlandia is upon us! I love that Fred and Carrie’s characters in the Artisan Knots sketch just happened to be dressed as Donald Sutherland and Brooke Adams’ characters from the 1978 “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”. The film nerd connection: the proprietor of the Artisan Knots store is played by Jeff Goldblum, who also had a role in “Invasion of the Body Snatchers”.
